In the community, students made signs, and ribbons were given to dental assistants while dental health talks and oral care products were given to preschool and grade school children. Focusing on the dental community, the students hosted a booth in conjunction with NDDAA at the Fargo dental seminar and promoted DARW.

On March 5, the students were surprised with a luncheon hosted by the faculty. During March, school children were invited to visit the lab on campus where students explained oral health procedures and made presentations. These students also participated in a Science Trek project featuring the mixing process of the many dental materials encountered. All Southern Idaho students are ADAA members.
