Many thanks to Richard Rohr, OFM for his wonderful analysis on religion, in particular, Catholicism.
In his article "Container versus contents" (CNT, June 19, 2005), he hit the nail on the head for many of today's serious Catholic Christians like myself.
I have had enough of the container and choose to jump out and continue my faith journey following Jesus without all the unnecessary trappings of the corporate church.
As difficult as it is to be bur dened with knowing, I feel free.
