Pope Griffin must stay 10 years

Re: "I am running for pope," (CNT Sept. 26).

I would change only one item in Ed Griffin's platform. When he is elected pope (as he would be in a free vote of all Catholics) he must stay for at least 10 years. It takes a long time to accomplish anything in the Vatican. Hell (if you'll pardon the expression), it took them over a thousand years to decide that priests must be celibate.
