A Question of Truth: Christianity and Homosexuality

Catholic New Times, Dec 14, 2003 by Ted Schmidt

A Question of Truth: Christianity and Homosexuality by Gareth Moore OP, Continuum, 2003. Just before his death from cancer in 2002, British Dominican Gareth Moore finished his book on homosexuality as understood by the official Catholic church. In rigorous fashion, Moore argues cogently that there are no convincing arguments from scripture or natural law against homosexuality.

He takes us through the biblical evidence and then through the natural law arguments and concludes by believing "in the possible goodness of homosexual relationships." A serious, somewhat academic study. Moore exemplifies the Dominican motto in his quest for Veritas. Well worth the read.
