Resurrection
Catholic New Times, May 21, 2006 by Cathy Williamson
Resurrection Rake gently, you who desire to remove autumn's blanket that warms the new growth of Spring. Reke gently, removing all that seems dead to reveal the new life beneath. Oh yes, all seems dead but new life sprouts in darkness Proclaims the resurrection of the universe that is there for us all. O death, you give way to life revealing new treasures Your silence uncovered, your stillness is stirred. Sweet lavender fills senses, new buds now unfurl proclaiming newness and hope! O nature, our story is contained in your movement; through seasons of fullness, through death to new life. Your stillness our teacher; Life calls us to see Resurrection, our glory. Forever to be free.
