National Voter, Oct, 2006

The LWVUS recently gained considerable press coverage in the stories about the Supreme Court's decision in the Texas redistricting case. LWVUS President Mary G. Wilson's statement was picked up in stories written by U.S. News & World Report, the Los Angeles Times, Reuters, the Dallas Morning News, the Houston Chronicle and Hearst Newspapers.

The communications team was also hard at work during Convention 2006. The Convention gained local media attention in the Twin Cities: Minnesota Public Radio broadcast both Dr. Thomas Mann's opening speech and an interview with former LWVUS President Kay J. Maxwell, a local network affiliate filmed Convention, and the Associated Press ran a short story.
