2003 a work odyssey
T+D, March, 2003
If you feel as if the world of work is changing in front of your eyes, you're not alone. The Future of Work project www.thefuturework.net is attempting to map those changes and provide recommendations, studying how employees are managed, where they work, and what tools are helping them do their jobs.
One result of the project is "The ReFormation of Work" www.future-org.com/The_reformation_of_work htm. which lists 23 key business trends. They include collaborative work, extinct worker loyalty, decomposed work units, and increased outsourcing.
