T+D, July, 2002 by Gary L. May, Bill Kahnweiler

Bill Kahnweiler, whose first job was teaching behavioral statistics in a maximum security prison, says that he likes to keep a low profile. "If someone tells me I had an impact on them, I say it was unintentional."

Gary May's first job was S.O.B.--"son of boss." He says he wishes someone had advised him earlier in life to "eat the cherry first."
