Survey says

T+D, Sept, 2003 by Haidee E. Allerton

I stared at the computer screen quite a while before f started writing--no, typing. I'm still not writing yet. Every month, I have to fill this page--with, it's hoped, something worth reading. Hey, you try it!

I could talk about what's in this issue, which is definitely worth reading, but you'll find that for yourself. Aha! I just now thought of what I should write about--you. Or, at least what you told us on the latest reader survey in June. Overall, a huge majority are pleased with T D's coverage, usefulness, relevance, and all those good metrics. And that pleases us. You also told us the top topics you're interested in: leadership development, designing and delivering training, and--surprise perhaps--e-learning. You told us what you expect to gain most from reading T D: keeping up with new practices. And you told us a lot more.

We consider such feedback crucial. We use it to plan our content and our focus for the next months. Without it, we might be operating in a vacuum. So, we thank you.

And you'll see below that we've added a new award to our gallery, for associate editor William Powell's column The Web (formerly @Work).

Keep the feedback coming at any time. You can send it to
