MacWeek, August 10, 1998
Version 2.0 of DiamondSoft's font management program, Font Reserve, is set to ship at next week's Seybold Seminars San Francisco/Publishing 98 conference.
The Mac-only utility will be geared toward graphic designers, production employees and typographers. The new version will cost $119.95, with a free upgrade for registered users, the company said. A version without a manual will be available on the company's Web site for $99.95.
Font Reserve 2.0 will automate font functions via AppleScript. For example, it can distribute a set of fonts to a project team. The update will speed font activation, remove duplicates, check for corrupted files, and organize and track the fonts, according to DiamondSoft.
