Migraine relief

Natural Health, June, 2008 by J.D. Smith

I was disappointed that there was no advice from a chiropractor in "How Can I Treat a Migraine?" [April 2008, page 24]. Often migraines can be caused by problems that originate in the spine. A chiropractor would do a detailed examination to see if the pain could be caused by any misalignments and may suggest the use of a cold compress on the neck and heat on the hands, which would draw blood away from the vessels in the brain and reduce throbbing.
