Natural Health, July-August, 2008 by Sue Ellis, Valerie Cooksley
In "Ask the Experts" [October 2007, page 108], there was a question about essential oils and hair loss. Valerie Cooksley, director of the Institute of Integrated Aromatherapy in Houston, suggested a scalp treatment that combines different essential otis. Should this mixture remain on overnight? Could you also recommend some shampoos to go along with the essential otis?

Yes, you should leave oils on overnight to allow time for them to be absorbed by your skin and hair. As for shampoos, try Aubrey, Avalon, Burt's Bees, Miessence, Grahams, Jason, NaturOli, Nature's Baby, Giovanni, or Dr. Bronner's.
