IF YOU'RE TAKING MEDICATION, YOU'VE probably seen a list of side effects on the packaging. But one important effect is almost always missing: nutrient depletion. The longer you take many common drugs, the more you may be undermining your health. In my nine years of being a naturopathic physician, I've studied which drugs deplete which nutrients.

The following chart shows my findings and offers simple dietary and supplement solutions. (If you take prescriptions, it's important to determine the right regimen with your physician.)
