The merger is moving along smoothly. Master chiefs, senior chiefs and chief petty officers have merged and we're on track to merge E6 and junior on Jan. 1, 2003.
One of the most important facets of the merger is the merged examination, which will begin in January 2003 when E7 candidates will see the first combined examination. E4/5/6 candidates will see their first combined examination in March 2003. BIBS and Advancement Handbooks were available in October 02. We need your help in getting the word out to our enlisted community to start preparing now for the March 03 exam cycle.
