Supplying the operating forces

Navy Supply Corps Newsletter, Nov-Dec, 2002

A number of NAVSUP employees at FISCS, NEXCOM, and other activities who serve in Reserve and National Guard units have been called up to active duty. Those individuals fulfill roles both in the Southwest Asia theater and in homeland defense.

The military and civilian staff of the Naval Supply Systems Command worldwide enterprise are dedicated to making sure our operating forces have the supplies, ordnance and services they need to continue the battle against terrorism. In doing so, we accomplish our purpose of delivering combat capability through logistics while remaining Ready, Resourceful, Responsive.
