Congratulations to our new Chief Petty Officers. Our Supply ratings saw 457 personnel selected for advancement. All of our ratings saw increased advancement opportunity from the previous cycle. The following are the advancement opportunity statistics as compared to FY02:

Advancement opportunity Navy-wide was 27.29 percent. Our top Sailors (those who earned an early promote) were selected at 36.61 percent. Overall Sailors in the sailorization process were selected above the norm: Sailors with recruiting experience were selected at 27.47 percent; those with instructor experience were selected at 30.73 percent; and 39.39 percent of Sailors with Recruit Division Commander experience were selected.
