ACI's new Executive Vice President
Concrete Construction, Dec, 2002
William R. Tolley has been appointed Executive Vice President of the American Concrete Institute (ACI International).
In addition to membership, Tolley said he would make international activities a top priority.
"Tremendous opportunities have been identified in this area," he said. "I would like to see ACI continue to be involved in a worldwide concrete community made up of equal partners. We have a chance to expand our international role by developing stronger relationships with our counterparts around the world."
In addition to his duties as Executive Vice President, Tolley will also serve as president of the Concrete Research and Education Foundation (ConREF), a nonprofit subsidiary of ACI, which administers seven separate education and scientific councils. He is also president of Creative Association Management (CAM), a for-profit subsidiary of ACI, which currently manages the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), the American Shotcrete Association (ASA), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Metropolitan Detroit.
