The new Porto-Screed requires only one operator, increasing efficiency and productivity on the jobsite. A 4-hp Honda gasoline engine powers the unit, which delivers 4300 vibrations per minute. The high vibrating speed and amplitude allow strike-off of a stiffer mix, bringing fine aggregate to the surface. The 75-pound unit is designed to take twin 2x4 beam lengths of up to 16 feet and is suitable for projects such as sidewalks, driveways, and other smaller jobs.
