We expect to double our revenues again this year after more than doubling last year

Concrete Construction, August, 2004

* We expect to double our revenues again this year after more than doubling last year (from $12 to $26 million). This growth was planned, but still that kind of growth does magnify the normal challenges of running a concrete construction business, for example personnel issues, getting the right person in the right position.

Another issue with rapid growth is the stress it puts on our managers. Some have opted out; even some very talented people have decided that the stress was not something they could live with.
