Master Builders Inc.'s Color Cure admixture system is a combination of two water-repellent admixtures: an admixture used in concrete block, and another used in masonry mortar. Using both in conjunction results in a high level of water repellency, weather resistance, efflorescence control, and color vibrancy. The concrete admixture is a polymer emulsion with a high molecular weight. It gives the block increased compressive strength, edge/corner definition, and durability. The mortar admixture is a specially formulated polymer additive that decreases the mortar's absorption rate and increases its visual appeal and color integrity.
