THE WORK TRUCK SHOW[R] 2005 MARCH 2, 3, 4 INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Held in conjunction with the 41st Annual NTEA Convention March 1-4

The Fleet Management Symposium at the Work Truck Show next month offers fleet managers a rare opportunity to learn from their peers and see the trucking industry's latest technology. The symposium will be held Feb. 28 and March 1, just before the show in Indianapolis.

The symposium's format offers an intensive training opportunity for fleet managers looking to reduce costs, risks, and liabilities associated with vehicles, equipment, shops, technicians, and mobile work crews. The first day will focus on fleet asset and business management skills. Day two will concentrate on shop labor, fuel, and technology management skills. Some of the 25 topics include:

* In Maximizing warranties and performance guarantees.

* Applying optimum fuel management models.

* Applying remote GPS tracking and onboard monitoring and messaging to manage mobile work crews and fleet assets.

Fleet Management Symposium registration includes a complimentary Conference & Trade Show Package, entitling access to the show floor, conference sessions, and the March 3 Truck Fleet Manager Training Session & Networking Luncheon. Symposium registration is $299 until Feb. 18 and $399 after.

There's another reason to attend. For fleet managers interested in becoming certified, the symposium is a prerequisite to earning advanced certification and master's degree certification in equipment and fleet management. The certification program is endorsed by the Rocky Mountain Fleet Management Association, Association of Equipment Management Professionals, and the National Council of State Fleet Administrators.
