Billboards on wheels
Concrete Producer, The, Feb, 2005
The Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI) has come up with a unique method of telling the public about its product. The Ottawa-based association is urging its members to attach tarps extolling the virtues of their products to each load of precast concrete they deliver. The rolling billboards can be seen on Canadian highways from one coast to the other.
CPCI's 26 active members operate 34 plants throughout Canada with more than 900,000 square feet of plant space. The association, founded in 1961, also has 36 associate members (national suppliers), 12 supporting members (local suppliers), and 100 professional and student members.
