Concrete Producer, The, May, 2003
Easy to install, these blocks require no concrete footing and can be laid with either the smooth or split-face side of the block showing. They lock together vertically and horizontally and can even be laid using alternative linking methods. The blocks form a vertical wall without any setback, eliminating problems associated with curves and corners.
Every second column of the wall starts with a half-height block. Crushed rock is placed in the cores and behind the block for stability. To build walls higher than those for general landscaping, concrete and steel rods (or geogrid or mesh) must be used for reinforcement. The wall is topped off Interlink caps.
