IMER USA Inc - Mortar Mixers - Brief Article
Masonry Construction, Dec, 2002 by Jim Camillo
Workman 250 and 350 Multimixers are used for mortar, stucco, grout, and concrete. Benefits include the ability to move the drum in seconds and empty it in any position automatically. A direct-drive gearbox rotates the drum without the use of external gears. The 250 unit comes with a 9-cubic-foot-capacity drum; the 350 unit comes with a 12-cubic-foot-capacity drum. Both units can be powered by a 1.5-hp, 110/220-V electric motor or a 5.5-hp Honda gas engine. A special bearing and seal system enhances worker safety by automatically locking the drum when it stops rotating. The drum can be removed in less than 1 minute by loosening a T-bolt. The jig-welded steel frame includes a built-in work platform and a mounted spare tire.
