Hand tool renews worn trowel edges
Masonry Construction, Sept, 2003
This hand-held tool features a plastic body shaped for one-hand grasping and a forefinger rest to promote smooth filling strokes on the trowel while protecting hands and fingers. The tool encases a two-sided 8-inch flat file and has a slot at the bottom to prevent the file from slipping off the worn edge of the trowel. The slot maintains the proper alignment between the file and the worn edge to give an appropriately precise straight edge.
