System tracks vehicle fleet
Masonry Construction, Sept, 2003
FleetDirector is an Internet-enabled system that displays vehicle movement in real time to track and control every aspect of fleet activity. A detailed computerized map lets the dispatcher know where every vehicle is located. Text message display terminals allow users to communicate to and from their vehicles quickly and clearly. The system is easy to implement and scalable for a fleet as small as five trucks operating in a single metropolitan area to a fleet of more than 1000 vehicles spread out over several large cities.
