Control block stops moisture migration

Control-Blok is a patented concrete block designed to prevent water and wind-driven rain from reaching the interior surface of structures. The product provides moisture protection through three mechanisms: Rheomix water-repellent admixtures lower the permeability of the block and the mortar, a beveled edge reduces the presence of water at the horizontal joints, and a modified web design directs moisture away from interior surfaces. The block is recommended for use in above- and below-grade exterior walls and structural back-up cavity walls.
