Wheel loader contains onboard monitoring system

Masonry Construction, Jan, 2005

The WA320-5 wheel loader employs an electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission for handling a wide variety of applications with increased production, operator comfort, versatility, and reliability. It is powered by an air-to-air after cooled engine, which offers a net output of 166 hp and full Tier 2 compliance. The transmission allocates only as much power as is needed, which ensures accurate and powerful operation. Traction control reduces tire slippage in sandy or wet conditions. A monitoring system keeps operators informed of 28 machine functions and avoids costly breakdowns before they occur.
