The Hallmark of Creve Coeur Creve Coeur, Missouri
Masonry Construction, Feb, 2003
This 281-unit, 6-level (plus a garage), 317,700-square foot facility provides independent and assisted living for seniors. Masonry was selected as a key component in the project because it creates a sense of permanence and stability for the residents.
Horizontal bands of masonry include a limestone concrete split-face block base with a deep wine-colored brick veneer in the middle, topped by limestone-colored brick at the roofline. The limestone brick is pulled down into the wine brick in the bay areas to convey a residential feel.
