Ultraseal waterproofing & seal

Masonry Construction, Feb, 2003

The 3750 MTO bridge deck membrane protects structures from damage caused by moisture infiltration. This hot-applied waterproofing/roofing compound consists of a specially selected blend of refined asphalt, synthetic rubbers, and inert mineral fillers to produce a material with excellent flexibility, elongation, resilience, and adhesive and cohesive properties. The product is ideal for planters, foundation walls, reservoirs, tunnels, concrete bridge decks, terraces, and promenades, and is installed over concrete, gypsum board, plywood, and metal. The one-part homogenous mixture forms a fully bonded membrane that is waterproof, seamless, and monolithic almost immediately after application, To install simply heat the product in a double-jacketed oil bath melter (equipped with a mechanically operated agitator) and then spread the material with a rubber squeegee to obtain the desired thickness.
