BidTrak software analyzes the historical bid data of competing contractors and weighs factors like general market conditions, job difficulty, and current workloads to determine the range in which competing bids are most likely to fall on a given job. A bar graph appears on a screen displaying this information. A contractor can use the data to adjust his own bid to maximize profitability and increase his chances of winning. The program requires the contractor to build a "bid data" database, followed by six simple steps that take just a few minutes. The software also comes with several built-in reports, including competitor summaries, bid summaries, bid types, and bid details.
