Coating provides several benefits

Masonry Construction, April, 2003 by Jim Camillo

PolyShield regular graffiti preventer forms an invisible barrier on interior and exterior surfaces that acts as a shield to prevent the absorption of vandalistic harm into the substrate. The product is used on painted and unpainted surfaces, including brick, natural stone, concrete, and stucco; and is able to withstand the high pH of unpainted masonry. The coating also restores faded painted surfaces and reduces dirt buildup from clinging to surfaces. Two coats should be applied to a graffiti-free surface by wiping them on with a sponge or towel (conventional spray method or detail gun may also be used). If treated surfaces become subjected to graffiti, no penetration of the stain should occur to the underlying surface. The coating dries to the touch in minutes and cures in 24 hours.
