Sander works in tight quarters

Masonry Construction, April, 2004 by Jenni Spinner

The Sr356 is a 1/3-sheet orbital finishing sander with a rubber-coated top that deadens vibration to increase operator comfort, and a two-position side handle to increase control. It has no protruding parts, making it well suited for sanding into corners or up against vertical sidepieces. The die cast aluminum base plate ensures smooth, even finishing, and the quick-action sandpaper clamp incorporates rubberized pressure pads for strong gripping and tensioning of the sanding sheet. An auxiliary fan for self-contained dust collection or an external hose connection is available.
