The training's goal is to be more than a simple review of MasterFormat's changes. It would also provide more general information, such as the basics of reading, using, and implementing specifications.

Karl Borgstrom, Ph.D., is the executive director of The Construction Specifications Institute. He has more than 20 years of construction-related and association management experience, including head of the National Electrical Contractor Association's Management Education Institute and CEO of the Construction Management Association of America.
