Flashings transitioned to non-asphaltic adhesives

This company has transitioned all of its copper laminated flashing products to non-asphaltic adhesives. The products, originally offered at a premium over asphaltic versions, are now priced at the same level. Nonasphaltic products offer several advantages, including compatibility with most other building envelope materials, no limitations on temperature application, eliminated risk of asphalt staining, and ability to accommodate a limitless range of sealants.
