Rebar bender/ cutter includes microprocessor - new products - advertisement
Masonry Construction, July, 2002 by Jim Camillo
The VB16Y rebar bender/cutter features a built-in microprocessor that enables the unit to uniformly bend 3/8-, 1/2-, and 3/8-inch-diameter rebar up to 180 degrees. A variable-speed trigger switch lets the operator control the bending speed with precision. The product weighs 37.5 pounds, cuts rebar in 3.1 seconds, and bends it in 5.1 seconds. Reaction receivers at the front and rear combined with the unit's low-profile design helps keep the tool still when bending long rebar.
