London hosting International AAC Conference

Kingston University in London will serve as the site for the 4th International Conference on Autoclaved Aerated Concrete--Innovation and Development. The event is scheduled for September 8-9.

There have been a number of recent innovative developments in AAC (known as Aircrete in the UK), including manufacturing processes, product properties, and construction methods, that have resulted in enhanced performance. The conference will examine six aspects of the product: raw materials and production, product properties and performance, codes and regulations, design and performance, construction techniques, and environment and building performance.
