NESPA rewards four scholars …

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association awarded this year's H.J. "Duke" Ellington Memorial Scholarship Awards to four graduating high school seniors or college students who live within NESPA borders. The scholarships, ranging from $450 to $600, went to Thomas V. Mangano, who will attend Quinnipiac University; Cory Winter, James Madison University; Katie Hagarman, Juniata College; and Juana Gomez, Hofstra University.
They were nominated by NSPI members and judged primarily on the performance of good deeds or community service. Scholastic achievement and financial need also were considered.
