Trade groups merge …

The Hearth Products Association, based in Arlington, Va., recently merged with the Barbecue Industry Association of Naperville, III., to form the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association. The new association, which now has more than 2,500 members, will be located in HPA's current office. The association will be staffed by former HPA employees.
