Pool & Spa News, Jan 30, 2004
Entries Organizers of the 2004 International Pool & Spa Expo are joining forces with NSPI's Retailers Council to call for entries for the "NSPI Retailers of Excellence Concept Store--First Annual Design Competition." Organizers are seeking design proposals for a state-of-the-art retail store specializing in pool, spa and outdoor-living products.
It is open to retail store designers, architects and artists. The winning 2,400-square-foot Concept Store will be unveiled at the 2004 Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center, slated for Dec. 1-3. The winner will have the option of selecting a trip to this year's Expo, including roundtrip airfare to Las Vegas, two-night hotel accommodations and a conference superpass--or a 10-by-10-foot exhibit space at the show. To download a Design Competition Entry Form, go to www.PoolandSpaExpo.com and click the retailer Concept Store button. Abstracts are being accepted until March 8. (The Expo is produced by Hanley Wood Exhibitions, a division of Hanley Wood, LLC, which also is the parent company of Pool & Spa News.)
