Arch earns IT distinction

Arch Chemicals Inc. was named to the InformationWeek 500, a list of the most innovative corporate users of information technology. The list is compiled annually by InformationWeek, a print magazine based in Manhasset, N.Y., that provides news and information on IT trends for business technology professionals.
To be included in the list, a company must exhibit the best practices in areas such as implementing cutting-edge IT programs; IT spending as a percentage of overall sales; and more. In the latest edition, Arch ranked sixth among the ]5 American chemical firms on the list. Arch is headquartered in Norwalk, Conn.
