Marquis names marketing V.P

Brett Fritts has been hired as vice president of marketing at Marquis Corp. As a member of the executive management team, Fritts will oversee his department's marketing strategies and executions. In the previous 11 years, he was with General Electric's Security Division as its director of commercial marketing.
This is his first position in the spa industry. In other company news, Marquis added three sales associates: Tony Dewald was made regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic states, spanning Delaware. Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia. Steve Salter was hired as regional sales manager for the Mountain states of Colorado, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and part of Montana. Jim Trine was selected as sales training facilitator. As part of his duties, Trine will travel across the country conducting sales seminars. Marquis is a portable-spa manufacturer based in Independence, Ore.
