Training ground

Prosales, Oct, 2004 by Chuck Nelson

I enjoyed Bill Hofius' article (Sales Shorts, June, page 28). Training is so key for continued success, no matter how experienced one is.

Our salesperson Kim Breedlove focuses on training and learning opportunities when in his Ply Mart stores, and she has mentioned a couple of their people particularly who have accepted and successfully used her training in recent months. They have put their new learning to work with the Tek-Rail products to produce sales. I want to recognize Phil Cheeves in Newnan, Jimmy Fasthoff in LaGrange, and Sheila Moseley in Columbus, Ga., for demonstrating they know how to grow and learn like "Joe Cat." Our commitment is to find more Joe Cats to help them grow this category.

I hope that Bill continues to contribute to this publication, as this is great advice and a great forum to get people thinking positively. Thank you.
