Tips for shopping the show
Prosales, Jan, 2004
* If you want to take clients out to dinner during the show, make your reservations before you leave home or you'll have a hard time getting into many restaurants. The same goes for seeing a show or getting a tee time for golf. You can research entertainment opportunities at www.vegas.com.
* Dress for comfort. You'll be on your feet for hours. Good walking shoes are essential.
* Transportation to and from the show can take time. Shuttle buses run between the hotels and the convention center and there are cabs, but at the 2003 show, the wait for a cab often was as long as an hour. Build extra time into your schedule to compensate, or consider hiring a car and driver. Parking is very limited at the convention hall.
