Style Solutions acquires Fypon, SBR buys Dixie-Pacific
Prosales, Jan, 2005
On Nov. 12, Archbold, Ohio-based millwork manufacturer Style Solutions announced the purchase of its competitor Seven Valleys, Pa.-based Fypon. "When it comes to product awareness, the Fypon name has a leading edge. Style Solutions is known for our superior customer service and operational excellence," said Dave Goulette, vice president and general manager for Style Solutions, in a release. "The marriage of the these two companies results in a single company that can fulfill all the interior and exterior molding and millwork needs of building industry professionals, architects, and consumers nationwide."
The acquisition includes the Fypon brand identity along with operational facilities and equipment. Style Solutions will now operate under the Fypon brand name and will unveil its new branding and marketing materials this month at the International Builders' Show in Orlando, Fla. The acquisition becomes effective Feb. 22, 2005.
Additionally, on Dec. 1, Style Solutions' parent company, Parkersburg, W.V.-based SBR, announced that it has purchased Dixie-Pacific, a Gadsden, Ala.-based manufacturer of columns, capitals, posts, and railings. SBR says it will continue to operate Dixie-Pacific under its existing management team.
