Peachtree renews dealer focus
Prosales, Feb, 2003
Peachtree Doors and Windows recently announced it is beefing up its product lines and marketing efforts in a renewed commitment to dealers and distributors on a national level. The manufacturer, now under new ownership, describes a rededicated effort toward its entry doors, patio doors, and windows. "For the first time in years, Peachtree is now owned by `window and door people,'" brand manager Chris Brown described in a statement. "In the past year, the owners have made significant investments in the company, building on the already formidable Peachtree product line. A reenergized marketing effort will help us build on the great brand recognition that exists and support and grow our distribution network."

Much of the company's new product focus promotes easier living for homeowners with features such as energy efficiency, self-cleaning glass, and expanded options in exterior cladding. In addition, the company is introducing three complete window and patio door lines--the 300 series, 500 series, and 700 series--that make it easier for builders and consumers to coordinate purchases and are easier for dealers to sell. To support the new product launches, Peachtree is committing additional resources on the distributor level, including more national marketing through consumer and trade advertising, new marketing materials and brochures, and increased public relations.
