Marvin windows & doors
Prosales, Feb, 2006 by Stephani L. Miller
The Ultimate Double Hung Magnum window is available in sizes up to 5 1/2 feet wide and 10 1/2 feet tall and meets commercial design pressure ratings, allowing architects and builders to use large wood windows where they have traditionally had to use an alternate material to meet performance requirements. A spiral balance system creates even pressure to allow the window to operate smoothly and easily with minimal effort even in such large sizes; the balance system also adjusts up to 10 pounds for fine tuning and carries 70 percent of the sash weight. The traditionally styled Ultimate Double Hung Magnum features an all-wood interior and either a wood or aluminum-clad exterior. 888.537.8268. www.marvin.com. Circle 101.
