KLBMDA to become KBMA

Louisville, Ky.-based Kentucky Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (KLBMDA) announced the renaming of its organization to the Kentucky Building Materials Association (KBMA) following a unanimous vote at a special membership meeting on July 7. The association says the name change will allow for a broadening of its membership base to include suppliers that are related to construction but may not sell lumber.
The KLBMDA (www.klbmda.org), which will change over to its new name gradually, celebrates its 100th anniversary this year and serves more than 290 members within the state.
