Dapper copper - New material: piping-hot products for your next project

Residential Architect, June, 2003 by Nigel F. Maynard

Tired of specing humdrum tile surfaces? Show some mettle with Patine, a line of tarnished, embossed copper tiles from Walker Zanger. Patine is already oxidized, so each handmade tile sports a one-of-a-kind mottled surface. Two layers of protective lacquer prevent further tarnishing. The tiles have cement-based backing and come in 4-by-4-inch and 6-by-6-inch sizes. Dots, decos, and runners are also available. Walker Zanger, 818.504.0235; www.walkerzanger.com.
