Take five: Milwaukee offers five-year warranty - News

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. is now offering a five-year limited warranty on all of its power tools manufactured after Oct. 1, 2003, and will repair or replace any defective tool within five years of the date of purchase. The company also is now offering the one-year Free Maintenance program that includes electrical safety checks and performance tests at its service/sales support centers. The new warranty does not apply to battery packs, radios, and flashlights, which will continue to carry a one-year warranty.
